really on the move these days

Xavier is definitely a walker! He prefers to walk with shoes on, I think in his mind it makes him totally cool or something, so shoes are worn whenever he feels the need to do a big walkfest!!! He still likes to get down and crawl some, but walking is very fun these days! I should have taken a picture of his newest shoes, they have skulls and crossbones on them, very cute if I say so myself, Xavier just thinks they are the baddest of bad shoes and will go looking for them and bring them back to you just to have you put them on him. However, no picture of them yet. I am saving them for our trip to Europe at the end of the month, so they can not be worn outside yet...Sometimes he needs to have them put on just to go to sleep, crazy little guy!

Tractors are a big favorite in the Fish family and he has even made a trip to the tractor store to get a new seat for the Fish/MatysekSnyder tractor.
Currently, as I type, Xavier is having a mini fuss fest about not being able to grind more coffee beans! He is a professional coffee bean grinder!

Cheers!

We have a walker...

And Xavier is walking!!!! And that about sums up what is going on in the fish household. He does not walk all over the place, but he does stand up from sitting down on the floor and then will take a few steps and then sit back down. Crazy!!! I would be great if I had a picture or two, but nope, camera batteries are dead and have been dead for a little while...I will work on that!!

We are preparing for our trip to London at the end of September. Grace sent me a great article about flying with a little one and I am now freaked out because we are on a non-stop flight...please sleep Xavier, please sleep!!!

I am on the hunt for magnetic letters for Xavier and have been unsuccessful. I went all over the place looking for them and have come up empty handed. So sad, hopefully I am not stunting Xaviers learning abilities!!

Xavier also says Mama these days, I LOVE it!!!!
He also says Grapes and Cracker, two favorite foods, both are almost as high as pasta sauce on the Xavier like-o-meter!!!

Oh and one cool thing I just figured out, you can name your accounts whatever you want for when you go to the ATM, so excited I have named my accounts!!! I love it love it love it!!! You would think I would know this because I work at the bank, but a customer told me all about it and well I just had to go online and name my accounts!!! So much fun!!!

Back to chasing after my walking and talking and bubble blowing little man!!!

hi hi hi! Xavier is officially 14 months old and almost walking! He takes a few steps here and there and then it is back to crawling! All he wants to do it walk around holding your hands, so I am enjoying the fact that I don't have to run after him yet, but know it will be soon!

Xavier and I are starting to look forward to our trip to London and the Lake District at the end of September for Lenore's wedding. I am so over thinking the trip and trying to decide if I want to take a stroller or just get one of those leash type things for Xavier, I have a feeling he is going to be like a wild little 15 month old while we are cruising through the airport! This will be the 1st plane trip with my little man and well I am of course not just taking a small trip, nope, London...bring it on!!!

Xavier is finally starting to sleep better and only wakes up once a night most nights!!! Yea!!!! Know we just need to get him back into his bed, darn broken foot!!! Speaking of the broken foot, I am having this terrible dream that I am going to be limping a little for the rest of my life, I don't even know I am limping and then Jeremiah will say, hey autum you are limping. I really don't want to limp. I know whao is me right, but still it stinks, and I am back to wearing running shoes at work trying to help my foot along. breaking bones is for the dogs!

Ok, little man is waking up, back to full time mommy'ing!
Happy birthday to my dad tomorrow, big 65, Mr. Snyder is officially getting a little older!!!

The end of vacation

Yup, the beach was fabulous and wonderful!!!! We had a blast and it was so relaxing!!! Jeremiah and I celebrated our 5th anniversary today (it is tomorrow 7/2) and we went to dinner with the family. Xavier loved his corn!

The last few days have been really pleasant and great for spending a little bit of time on the beach, not too hot, however the surf has been really rough the last 2 days, but not like Xavier is getting into the big waves or anything. On Tuesday it was really calm, so Xavier and I went in a little farther and I was holding him, well this big wave surprised us and splashed up on Xavier's face, he was not happy!

Today was our last day at the beach and because the surf was so big it made a shelf in the sand, Xavier just loved it, we went up and down and up and down!!!

Happy 4th of July to all, I am thinking we will go see the fireworks at Wintergreen this weekend, another first for Xavier!!!!

At the beach...

Well the beach is a success! Xavier LOVES the sand, LOVES LOVES LOVES the sand!!! He is curious about the water, but the noise of the surf kinda freaks him out at times. However he does crawl down to the surf and splash about. A big wave took me by surprise yesterday morning and splashed up in his face, which caused a little drama, but then he started playing in the sand and all was forgotten! Uncle Heath brought his surf board and Xavier has found it to be a great sand toy. He likes it almost as much as knocking down anything and everything you make in the sand. Pictures included!
Xavier is officially a little tan baby boy, he gets brown just like Jeremiah, which leaves me as the most pasty-pale one in the family (no surprise, seeing as I officially have tan lines and I still look like a cousin of casper!!!)
We brought a big bucket and Xavier loves to get in the bucket and splash about, however I have not gotten a picture yet. The water was really warm on Saturday when we got here, but it has gotten chilly, so the bucket has come in handy after he gets all sandy to do a little rinse off, just to start it all over again!
And it has has been discovered that Xavier likes Barney! ...I love you, you love me, we're a great big family with a hug...
OMG, barney....

1st birthday and whatnot

So we have had a very busy last few months! Xavier turned 1, he had a fabulous birthday, it was hot, but all seemed to have blast! I can't believe it was over a year ago that I had Xavier!!!
I got my cast off, so that is fabulous, however I am walking with a small limp, but getting better each day!!!
We are currently at the beach this week, so I hope to be better with the blogging this week!!! I will upload some pictures soon. Xavier LOVES the sand and he does seem to like the ocean, he likes to crawl down to the surf and then race back up into the sand. Pictures to come.

I am also uploading some pictures from his birthday and also a cutie video of bathing.

So things are going well. I am a terrible blogger, I totally forget about this little page! Only 4 more days until I go back to see about getting my cast off! Yippeeee!!! I can not wait!!! I am so ready to not stick to my blankets at night while I am trying to sleep!!!!
Xavier is 11 months old, I can not believe how quickly time is going by, he is into everything and really wants to start walking. He pulls up on everything and then stands there for a second and then freaks out because he is actually standing, it is pretty darn funny!
He is heading off to the childrens museum today with his grandparents, so that should really tire him out today!!!

Just over a month until we head to the beach, I think Xavier is going to love it, he loves getting dirty and loves the water, so I would think the beach will be right up his alley!!! I will post some pictures soon, however currently my camera is dead and I have not been able to recharge the batteries, I just always forget that they are dead until I try to take a picture.

Ok, off to work!
