3rd birthday success!

When I woke Xavier up on his birthday I said, "Happy  Birthday Xavier" and his response was, "Can I eat my Happy Birthday now?"  Gotta love this little guy!  Birthday = Cake!  The funny thing about Xavier and cake is that he pretty much only likes to eat the icing.  He will have a bite or maybe two of the actual cake, but he really just wants the icing.  I find this extremely funny because my least favorite part of cake is the icing.  I like a little, but I seem to always be scraping half if it off before eating the cake.  Xavier and I are the ideal cake eating buddies, he shovels in the icing and I dig into the cake!
Its a dump truck!!!
Xavier was super excited about his new dump truck and could not wait to take it down to Geema & Papa's and try it out at dig-a-hole. His expression absolutely cracks me up, "its a dump TRUUUUCCCKKKKK."

Its a bulldozer!  Xavier's Great Aunt Nancy and Great Uncle Stan sent Xavier a big bulldozer for his birthday!  When the delivery truck dropped off the package Xavier was still napping, so when he woke up and made his way downstairs there was this huge box sitting in the middle of the floor.  Xavier asked what was in the box and I said, "I don't know, but it is for you, should we open it?"  He did his little excited dance and we sat down to open the box and what do you know there was a wrapped present in the box, Xavier torn into it and about freaked out over the bulldozer (more happy dancing and rolling around on the floor).  As you can see he was super duper excited to pull it out of the box and then we of course had to tromp down to Geema & Papa's to dig-a-hole to do a little pushing of dirt and then we hit the sand pile for more digging.  The bulldozer then came back up to the house and had to come inside for the night.  First thing on Friday morning when daddy got home from work and walked in the door, Xavier pulled back out the bulldozer and asked Daddy to take him down to dig-a-hole (and yes, Xavier refers to it as dig-a-hole) to dig with the "new bulldozer Aunt Nanccccccccccccyyyyyy and Uncle Stan sent him."
Xavier geeked out over his birthday cake made by Linda Ward (http://www.facebook.com/pages/Cakes-by-Linda).  Linda makes amazing cakes, absolutely amazing cakes-they are so yummy and the icing is amazing (this is coming from someone who does not really like icing!)  The digger themed cake was 100% a hit with Xavier and he kept trying to take the diggers off the cake.
Xavier loves the Happy Birthday Song, he was so excited when everyone started singing it and he joined right in and sang along and then clapped and kept saying, "good song, good song"  Xavier is a big fan of the birthday song!
Blowing out all 3 of his candles...maybe next year we will bust out the trick candles-hehehehe!
Digging into the green icing.  Xavier pretty much cleaned this piece of cake of all icing and left the actual cake.  He was a big fan of the green icing.  He had a green mouth and lips for hours after eating all the green icing.
A fishing pole from Ricky!  Definite hit with Xavier.
'sleeping' in his new tent and tunnel that Aunt Sue gave him.  He keep crawling through the tunnel and would pop out the other side and say "I made it through the mountain"  And back in he would go and pop out the other side.  Unfortunately the tent had a bent pole and is having to be taken back, this caused major melt down because the tent would not stay up and he could not 'sleep' in it.  He stayed in the tent even after it slide down on him and then he wormed his head out and said, "mommy fix it" I am thinking that the big tent will be making an appearance in our yard sometime this summer.
Thanks to everyone for helping make Xavier's 3rd birthday such a success!  He had a blast, we had a blast and we hope everyone else had a blast too!
